This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

When watching a cutting horse doing his job, one might come to the notion that the whole image looks like a dance; the cow moves and the horse moves with it, all without seemingly rider's cues. My goal was to capture the moment. I used brown pastel and charcoal.
About Jana Goode
Born in 1977 in then Czechoslovakia, now Slovakia. I started painting in early childhood and from age of 6 I was visiting Public School of arts, which I graduated from at age of 18. I was allways fascinated by nature and animals, especially horses. They are also my favourite subject. I do prefer realism and impressionism.
